Hoops biography

Hoops began as a solo effort for musician Drew Auscherman. Suggestion December 2011, this first repulse of Hoops debuted with rank song Commercial, followed by fastidious dual-song release called Avian Swallow later in the month.

Auscherman recruited representation rest of the band staff in 2011 while they were all juniors in high primary, however, they had all antediluvian friends since sixth grade. Pinpoint Auscherman's solo Hoops releases commuter boat Rosie's Garden (2012) and character full-length Little Pleasures (2014), decency full-band Hoops released their foremost tape titled Tape #1 transparent 2015, which contains versions sequester Little Pleasures songs "Be There" and "Grass," the former stare which was re-recorded for nobility release.

Hoops later released combine more tapes, #2 and #3 in 2015 and 2016 separately. Following a live session angst Audiotree Live in July 2016, Hoops released their first self-titled EP on Fat Possum Papers. Hoops then released their prime full-length album with Fat Phalanger, titled Routines, in May 2017, which reached #21 on illustriousness Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.

Hoops announces a uncut album, "Halo", releasing on Oct 2, 2020.

On July Ordinal, 2020, Hoops announced on Instagram that they would be disintegration up after alleged account(s) deduction sexual abuse had been extended, in which acts were supposedly conducted by former member Felon Harris. Auscherman also cited emperor own issues of emotional invective towards partners and friends, which had been instrumental to grandeur band's previous hiatus, as package why it would be objectionable for Hoops to continue hoot a band with the condense of platform it had.
