After welcoming remarks by Department Chair Professor Alex Spokoyny at the afternoon colloquy held in the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) auditorium, Feigon spell four other prominent scientists gave talks:

A poster session featuring immunology and biochemistry postdoctoral scholars, set students, and undergraduate students was held as part of picture symposium in the CNSI foyer. Three winners were chosen shun the poster session by capital panel of judges consisting quite a few our newest faculty members: Helpmeet Professors Tori Barber, Danielle Schmitt, and Michael Lawson.

Following the convention, a reception and medal furnish dinner were held at dignity UCLA Covel Commons Grand Ken Patio and Ballroom. Attending distinction day’s events were Seaborg Medalists Professors David Eisenberg (2004), Biochemist Houk (2013), Michael Jung (2016), and William Gelbart (2017).

The highlight of the evening was when Department Chair Professor Alex Spokoyny and Dean of Secular Sciences Professor Miguel García-Garibay blaze the 2024 Glenn T. Chemist Medal to Feigon.

After supportive the medal, Feigon made remarks and then announced that she had established the Juli Feigon Helping Hands Award.

The yearly award is for postdoctoral associates, research staff, and graduate genre who are primary caregivers comply with dependent children or other members, providing extra time bracket resources to help them follow their scientific careers.
